Doesn't disabling DC mean that only one core will be used
Nope, it's just a specific CPU hack. It is planned to get rid of this option.

@seinfeldx
Well, most of the times using DC is worse ... You might observe improvement with some games though. It is advised to uncheck that option now. Moreover , complete removal of this option is a work in progress. At least, that's what Jak Stine told ...

One thing i don't understand is why with GSdx dx10 on 0.9.4 in Rogue Galaxy is working pretty nice but the same on 0.9.5 SVN Rev. 377 gets garbage lines on the escalators, didn't test yet the others betas but that seems strange if it is the same GSdx it shouldn't make graphic worse.

4% compared to what? Also, have you used a build that does not cause the crashes?

Jake Stine was fixing up the MTGS code, and now its usually faster than DC (from what i've heard)
i think he might've also fixed some race-conditions (or is working on fixing them) that can occur with the multi-threaded code.

if its the same graphics plugin (and version), then that means its pcsx2's fault.

pcsx2 emulates VU's (vector units) that are used for graphics, and they transfer the information to the GS (which the GS plugin emulates).

so graphic problems can be caused by pcsx2 or gsdx.

Hey guys, I was testing Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater with the latest version of Pcsx2PP and the latest plugins.... Wow I'm amazed ! MGS3 emulation is starting to take shape. The new revision of SPU2Ghz PP version is working great on the game.

There are still issues like, the game randomly freezes whenever you're crawling among the grasses, some movie scenes gets really choppy, some graphical glitches, but anyway, I really enjoyed the sound improvement. Really nice job guys

Comment by ramapcsx2, Nov 27:
"Notice that mtgs without dc will lower cpu load considerably.
Usually without speed losses now (may be even faster) "

So maybe it will lower cpu voltage and temp when using pcsx2.

I have blade 2 but doesn't work from pcx2 .9.5 377 to 396 ppr 349.
I tested all of these emus. When I try to play the game, the emu closes.
I think it might be the screen.my little brother played it on his ps2 and the game's screen bigger than the TV's screen.

Turn off VU0 recompiler. And then try again. And it helps if you use punctuation.

Tested latest PP build and new GSDX.
Work good so far.
Look's like Gabest re enabled some of the post processing effects, but it also re enabled some old graphics bugs.
