To me, 'based on Cxbx' sounds more like it hasn't surpassed it, do don't hold your breath and expect higher compatibility...

Good luck with your project Rikki.
It isn't HCRs project and he never said that.
But I've checked the SVN and it's at SVN 167, so it already had 167 fixes over the original project.
But we don't know on which SVN it started and what for fixes are included.
And the last commits were done 3 month ago.
Probably keep an eye on this, but I wonder, why we don't know the author or read anything about it.
But same happened to TuxCube and it seems a good and legit project.

Sorry I didn't post this earlier, I was at work this morning and was away all day (gone from 7:45AM to 9:30PM).

First of all, this isn't a project that has just been started. It's been around since sometime last year. I know this person and I've talked to him (x9999) and he seems like a very nice guy. We've talked about the xproject back in November 2007 and he has explained in detail what exactly he plans on doing with it. If anyone wants to read the discussions I've had with him (via email), read the quoted text below. I removed certain information from the conversation because I feel there are some things in it that are none of you guys' business

as I have. If can recall what happened to _SF_, you might want to let
him know and sort things out with him to avoid any confusion. The
last thing you want to happen is to think that you are trying to rip
off Cxbx. That's one of many reasons why I decided to use LLE in
Xenoborg. I just don't want you to get in trouble. That's all.

That's it. IMO that's the whole goal of the project in a nutshell.

@Rikki and Rebel_x, I don't care who knows my email address because I've posted it all around, the same goes for my real name. It's not like I'm giving my street address or phone number
