Use the compat list in future, it should be playable using the latest vetas. PCSX2.net - Compatibility Even if it does not work or runs to slow, you can always play it on your console, so pick the game up at any rate. |

It works perfectly on emulator, from start to end, only minor graphical issues with distant polygons. And some missing FB effects, very fast, very nice.

I tried the PAL version of the game with the newest BETA and it worked fine until the first fight in the game. Okami gets stuck and can't move, as there is an invisible wall all around her.

I have the US version too, running it with SVN 343 without speedup hacks and it works perfectly (there are problems if speedups are on,atleast for me). I've been playing for a little more than 4 hours with it and didn't have a single crash! Intel C2D E6750 clocked @ 3.5GHz,8600GTS,2GB ram,Vista x64 With an unofficial gsdx 1.8 svn 745 (got it from a random post here on the forum, didn't even try with 1.7 yet...) in DX10 mode with higher resolution and texture filtering, ZeroSPU 0.4.5 and P.E.Op.S dvd plugin oh yeah, and the speed is smooth 60FPS except if i call up the pause menu and some animations, but even then the fps never droped below 45.The game is faster with speedhacks but looks worse and has sound problems for me..but as long as i can play without them in full speed that's even better ![]() well since it's my first post 5 months after i registered lol I'd like to say a huge thanks to the PCSX2 team, great job and keep it up! Playing FF X,XII,Okami,Tekken 4 and somewhat Tekken 5 and other great games on the PC is amazing ![]() edit: Quote:

Heya, sorry for bumping old threads, but I didn't want to start a new one for this, so: I'm playing Okami (PAL) right now and really lovin' it...there only are two problems: One is the black faroff polygons but as far as I read, there is no fix to this yet... But what's worse is slowdowns I'm having in larger regions where you can see far... And it looks like some are getting perfect speed all the time...so, could anyone help me with the config? Is there some kinda speed hack that's needed or something? Or other versions of the emu or plugins that are better with Okami? My Specs: Quadcore Q6600 (lightly OC'd to 3GHz), 2GB RAM, Geforce 8800GTS(512), X-Fi Soundblaster, Vista32, etc... PCSX2 0.9.5 svn377, ZeroSPU2 0.4.4, GSDX 0.1.9 (SSSE3) (Res: 1280x1024,85Hz, Rend: DX10Hardware, Interlacing: None, D3D Internal Res: 1024x1024, Tex Filt: Yes, VSync: Yes) The other plugins don't really matter speedwise, do they? Thanks!

We don't support SVN versions here.Okami is very cpu speed intensive, get a processor and OC it to 4 ghz or live with the slowdowns in a few areas. Thread closed
