I purchased a Nintendo DS lite, what games would I like?

I love Racing games like Ridge Racer, Shooters like R-Type, RPGs like Final Fantasy. I'm thinking I won't buy Mario Kart DS as it cheats. I might like various Castlevania's if they're good. I'm sure to like New Super Mario DS, and the latest Zelda. I doubt I'll like Mario Party.

I have Impossible Mission, Lost Magic, and Devilish. I'm thinking of buying Code Lyoko, the Namco Museum, and the Konami Pack for the DS.

Any suggestions for other games I'd like?

Yes, I like getting (primarily digital) games on sale @ bargain prices! don't like it? Just deal with it!

If you like racing, try Asphalt Urban GT 2.
For RPG, I'd bet that you should be looking at Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy XII - Revenant Wings, and Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles. Other titles of interest would be... hmm... too many to list. Oh yeah, and Pokemon and Digimon, too... if you don't mind training monsters 'til they die.
For shooters, if you can find a game better than Call of Duty 4, Brothers in Arms DS or Metroid Prime Hunter, you're god!

Mario Kart DS still pwns even without being able to go online, I use to play that game heaps when I had a DS, and I rarely ever played online.

(Playing online on the DS feels like playing against the CPU as you have no way of communicating).

Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow pwnz, if you liked Aria of Sorrow or SOTN. Also, some of my favorites, Megaman ZX and ZX Advent, Contra 4, Metroid Prime Hunters, Megaman Starforce and Ace Attorney series. But I can't guarantee you'll like them

Dawn of Sorrow is pretty good, still in the beginning of the game though...

The recently released Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is one game you should not miss, but make sure your touch-screen is well protected before you play it.

Asphalt isn't too hot of a game... the Ridge Racer game is ok (just the same as the n64 one though, and minus proper analog controls. there's this really awkward touch-screen control method which doesn't work, but it plays well simply with the d-pad. Not near the quality of the PSP ridge racer games, though).

Racing isn't too hot on DS anyway, but Need for Speed Underground 2 had a pretty decent port.

Shooters: you could try Nanostray, dunno if the second one is already out.
