Dolphin Emulator, What Specs & Plugins?
Hello, Could you tell me what specifications I would need to run Dolphin at a suitable framerate and plugins I would need. My specs are ... AMD Sempron 3200+ 1.81 GHZ (Avg clock speed: 1808.3 MHz) 32Bit Vista Basic 1919 Mb Ram (2GB Ram- 2 x Kingston DDR2 Ram) Motherboard: AliveNF6G-DVI Chipset: Nvidia MCP61 Graphics Card: Integreated Nvidia 6xxx (I put the x's because is 6000 something although I cant me too sure) I just wanted to know what sort of system I would need to run. I was thinking to upgrade to.. AMD 64 X 2 6000+ 3.0GHZ 2000 Mhz (Dual Core AMD) Upgrade to 4GB Ram Install a external dvi graphics card Inno3D Geforce 8600GT 1400MHz 256MB Graphics Card - I-8600GT-G5F3CD would this increase the framerate as I am getting 2-6 fps currently. Sometimes 12-20fps. |

You really ought to use a 64-bit OS and the 64-bit version of Dolphin, which is much faster. The 32-bit version hardly benefits from any PC upgrade.
