Bug in Xenogears

Since I really haven't played the game entirely i don't know exactly where it occurs. But it's after a "mission" on the dunes and you blow up like a big ship and ****...anyway after that you'll see a flashback i guess with the pendant swinging back and forth, and then you see an image of yourself as a child and your mother playing i guess. but when it comes to a certain angle(the camera circles around him) the game freezes...any idea what it can be? and how i can fix it?

what is there to explain? press F7 as the scene starts, and F7 when it ends.
