I have a 32mb voodoo 4500 now. Doesn't have a TV-out. I don't have much money because a person screwed me over by telling me that if I bought a Hollywood plus card, I would be able to dump my entire screen to the TV. well guess what it only dumps DVD movies. ok well here is the question. I have a chance to buy a agp Savage 2000 64mb card with TV-outfor about $40. Is this a bad idea considering what I have now. Will I still be able to run Epsxe and Prject64 and everything? Thanx

Does S3 (they're SonicBlue now) still update the drivers? Haven't seen any of these cards in action but heard there are tweaked driver sets for Savage cards. My suggestion: keep your Voodoo for Glide games and skip the Savage2000. Get a GeForce2MX w/ TV-Out. Don't know how much they sell for right now but last I heard they were dirt cheap at $50-$60. And nVidia updates their drivers regularly. Driver support is always a factor to consider when buying a new vid card. |

BaD_BURN, GeForce2 MX400s with TV out still sells at around $60 here in Manila.

Voodoo 4500 is not a bad card atall, as the others are saying try getting a Geforce MX2, I just bought it and it performs good, not an extra phenomenal card just a good performer, I am not pretty much satisfies, since I expected too much from it. Buy an Elsa or Asus brand with Geforce chip......that would do good. I bought it for 100$. Ali
