A few problems here...

Ok Ive been having ALOT of trouble with PCSX2 lately, I had it installed and running great a few months ago, I did a complete wipe of my comp and now I just cant get it to work. I have a few problems here now. Ok so heres my scenario, Im trying to play Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland for example. Its fully compatible with PCSX2. I have it in Drive D. I was looking at a few configuration guides and they all say use GSDX9. My problem is, when i select GSDX9 and click configure...the whole emulator crashes. Just like that, no error or anything, I tried reinstalling it from different sources, same problem, it just wont let me configure it. My second problem is with PEOPS CDVD and Linuzappz. No matter which I use, my emu crashes. With Linuzappz it just closes, with PEOPS it says problem loading the iso and then says there was an error loading the plugin. Again, I tried redownloading everything, both the emulator and plugins, with different versions as well, nothing seems to work. Basically...Im asking for a configuration to play Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland, and if anyone knows how to get my emulator up and running without these graphic and cd errors. I know its not a bad ISO, it works fine on my friend's PS2. Any ideas on why GSDX crashes when i click configure for starters? or how to get PEOPS to stop erroring? Any help is much appreciated.

Edit: Its GSdx9 (MSVC 14.00, SSE2) 0.10.0 and P.E.Op.S. (CDDA mod) 1.3.0
My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700 256mb

No, download the latest GSdx(1.7) from the plugin thread.

Use Linuzappz, rip your DVD to iso using DVD-Decryptor.

You may not have the GSdx plugins dll's put in the right place.

Your card is pretty weak..and the rest of your specs would help.

Almost everything you said is explained in the topic above "PCSX2 guide for noobs" ...

Lol, do you have Nloop enabled? If so, disable / grey box it.

But you say it happens as soon as you hit configure...so no idea, sorry.

Yeah, it is, so I can't be sure, but you'll have to wait for someone else to come along, you've got me stumped.

Hmm ok thanks anyways. Well I tried the ZeroGS as well, it opens up a window with the logo then closes as well =/ I used GSDX last time I used PCSX2, I have no idea why I cant configure it now, I never had problems like this before, I tried reinstalling and different sources 4 times already, so I doubt its the plugin itself. I did clean installs of PCSX as well, I dont even touch an option, just install, drop it in the folder and hit configure, no deal, still crashes =/

Oh and btw here are my specs from Belarc:

Well I have to go until morning, its 2:33am here and Ive been working on this all day, I need a break, if anyone has a solution to my plugin crash, please let me know and ill get back to you on the results when i get back. Thanks alot for all the help.
