Shinobido The Way Of The Ninja
Hi, im trying to run "Shinobido The Way Of The Ninja" on pcsx2 0.94 but i only get like 13-20fps ingame. is there something i can do to speed it up??? i noticed that in the console DVDRead Speed is only at 4X... My System Specs Are: AMD Athlon 64X2 4000+ @ 2.2Ghz 2.5 GB of RAM @ 667Mhz HiS Radeon X850XT Platinum Edition;Core @ 570Mhz Mem @ 1.24Ghz Seagate Barracuda 160 MSI K9N NEO OS Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 please help Last edited by s7evin; March 15th, 2008 at 18:57.. |

an Athlon would need at least 3.5 Ghz to reach 60 fps...but I myself have not seen a 4000 clocked that high btw remake the dvd into an ISO

i tested it with the iso and the speed is 4x... i use the linuzappz plugin...

Regardless of what you do, you won't achieve full FPS with a rig like that, not in any 3D game really, even FFX will have issues.

You'd be lucky to get 10-15FPS :P But if you must try, enable Dual Core mode, and MTGS, sue the latest GSdx 1.7(find it in the plugins thread) Use a SVN build from the site and enable Speed hacks and try.

overclock that x850 a little.....then if you can get the cpu to 2.8 ghz, you would get 28-40 fps in ffx...

what about the dvdread speed??? is it suposed to be higher than 4x???

i used the 0.9.5 with the ZeroGS KOSMOS 0.97 with MTGS and DC as well as the speed hack on and got 20-30fps... its buggy but lets say...playable... Thanks everybody... |
