ffx-2 prob

I bought the game and i m trying to play it with pcsx2 0.9.4. I choose from the menu "New Game" and when the first video begins the fps is very low and the quality of the video is bad.. Can anyone help me?

My pC:
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4Ghz
2 GB Ram
NVidia 8600GT
Windows Vista
