PSXfin game problem

There are a few games that I play using PSXfin, that for lack of a better way to describe it "freezes up" soon after it's loaded.
Like for example, when trying to play Parasite Eve 2 it freezes after I see the squaresoft logo. The other games basicly do the same thing in about the same place. I try to run them on differant emulators, but the problem I have with other emulators is that it makes everything move in fast motion (that and I think PSXfin is the best of all em with the exception of these games that don't work). And I have trouble configuring the controler to it cause it likes to always think that the stick is being pressed a certain way... but anywho... If someone could help me with this that would be cool. The list of games that i've had this problem with so far is below.

Dino Crisis
Parasite Eve 2 (both discs)
Gundam Battle Assualt 2
Suikoden 2
(and others that I havn't tried since I found the problem)

you probably dont have the fps limit enabled in the other emulators you tried. epsxe for example will run the games way faster without the limit on.

have you tried playing from the disks themselves as well as images of them?

Okay i have had and use pSXFin for sometime now, for awhile i was able to play the game RPG maker. Now, i had no problems till i was forced to redonwload and install everything over again, now i'm gettin problems with this RPG maker with something about Illegal link action(during ot breadcrumb clean up) any ideas on how to slove this odd problem?
