Yep. Sounds about right. Try some aggresive benchmarks or try unlocking or overclocking that processor.

mobo can't unlock. it is an asus m4a78 plus. I'm on stock cooling so can't do to aggressive an OC but am prime95 testing an OC at 2.9. maybe get it to 3 when the arctic Silver 5 thermal paste finishes burning in since I applied it this morning.

I am able to run the game but keyboard is not working. I am unable to select language when game starts. When I open config>controllers, i don't get lilypad option. I have added plugin in my plugins directry

Great list but I'd like to add a suggestion that you also list that the additional dlls - d3d9_36.dll and d3d10_36.dll go into the main pcsx2 folder containing pcsx2.exe
Since I've joined this forum newbies posted at least 20 times with problems originating from not downloaded the additional dlls or incorrectly placing them in the plugin folder.

It didn't work for me. It keeps taking me to the Insert PS2 CD screen...
