mario pinball save & other bugs

Hi guys!

I found that if I save Mario Pinball (U) and then exit, sometimes that save is erased when I come back to that game. This problem has existed with many flash carts & emus I've tried in the past, and still seems to be the case with vba-m (VisualBoyAdvance368.rar). Is this a known bug - and if so - is there any way this can be fixed while keeping automatic save detection on?

Another problem I've always had with vba is the mouse cursor flashing in the middle of the screen during a game. Is there a way of either telling the mouse to move to an extreme corner of the screen, or entirely deactivate itwhile the emu is running? The mouse seems to appear even when I've specifically moved the cursor out of the way before starting a game.

Finally - is vba-m going to continue development on gb/gbc? I play a lot of these games and may be able to raise some more bugs if there's a chance they'll get addressed.

Thanks all for your work on this fantastic emulator!

That's not an automatic save detection problem nor an emulator problem, it's the game. Although, i am not sure if it is a glitch.

It happens every time you turn of the game without saving. It seems that the internal memory is erased after loading the saved data...

thanks for the quick reply es3ado.

So... you think this is a problem with the original hardware? It seems like the mother of all oversights to me, though the behaviour you've described is exactly as I have experienced.
