Lag - Video Config. help.

I set up expse 1.6 and everything, but games still lag, so I'm trying to get the best video configuration. I have a GeFore 6200, and run a dual screen set up from it, with one of them being 22" (1680x1050) and the other a 15" (1024x768). Also, I use Pete's open GL2.

Can someone help me to figure out what resolution to run (in window or not), and what video settings I should be using?

can you post your video settings, either via screenshot or a copy/paste job?

Should I change it to that?

I always run from a CD, and recently I tried to run LoD, but I also tried a few of the FF games. I only run a single core.

Just tested, game & battle runs fine, but the movie sequences have no sound, and battle transitions turn up with a black screen, and take too long (almost 30 secs. to get into a fight.)

no thats just my resolution preferance, thats why i added "ignore" at the end. you might want to take a look at this guide if you really want a good idea of how to set up epsxe.

btw have you tried playing those games on version 1.5.2?

No, but does it really matter?

Thanks for that guide, his video card set up is the exact set up I should be using I guess... (i have 2 GB ram and a series 6 gfx card.)

EDIT: Nevermind, your settings ran smoother. But I still have that battle transition problem.

what game, LoD? certain games have issues under 1.6.0, specifically some of the FF games. i dont know about LoD though, it runs fine for me under either version. there is a game fix you can enable in the game fix menu in your video plugins config, you might want to try enabling it and seeing what effect it has for you.
