Dolphin suddenly freezes when loading isos

Hey guys, just today I've come into a strange error when running Dolphin. i was trying to load up Metroid Prime (GCN) when the game will not load, I only get a black screen and nothing. no sounds no anything which is odd since it was working last night.

stopping emulation leads to a crash. I don't know what is causing this error but I hope to find answers

Which version? What are your specs (CPU, video card, etc)?

Okay here my specs

Graphics Card - NVIDIA GeForce GT 630
my pc runs Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3220 CPU @ 3.30GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.3GHz
also I have 8 GB of RAM

also I found this was happening to other emulators I have on my pc (Nestopia, Virtual Boy Advance, ZSNES, Desmune, and epsxe. I did a restart and everything went back to normal. Though there is the bit of lag I get when playing Metroid Prime though not too bad (the game starts at 60 fps then drops to around 40 fps, sometimes lower at around 20 fps during some battles but most times it runs smoothly)
