Gas Guzzlers: Combat Carnage

By Tuff Kar and Gamepires, this is an arcade style combat racing with emphasis a mixture of fun little modes. Regular racing with some power ups like smoke, oil, boost and money pickups. Then theres combat, where you strap a gun to your hood and try to eliminate everyone or finish a certain number of laps.

Cars feel heavy and realistic, a bit sluggish but a nice change from this type of game. Customising your vehicle is pretty good, from aesthetics like paint jobs and rims, to engine enhancements and new weapons. Soundtrack is pretty metal and the graphics are pretty fancy.

Cars start out weak, Reliant Robins and little Fiat type things, but eventually it you can unlock and buy exotics, I don't know what ones, but by the back of the box it looks like Lambo's are in it. Full damage modeling is nice, smashing your car to pieces is fun.

It's a fun game, really good multiplayer potential, if a little dry at times.

Strange reminds me of the Death Race (or was it death rally) game just in 3D with a back camera, does seem like fun though.

Another round of screenshots.

I forgot to mention this game has no real DRM to speak of, just install and play, no keys, no registration required. Feels pretty strange in todays market.
