Error Message when playing Rampage - Puzzle Attack

First of all, I am using VBA 1.8 on a Ubuntu laptop. When I load Rampage - World Attack, during the opening credits, I am greeted with the following error message, "Unsupported BIOS function 1a called from 08373aae. A BIOS file is needed in order to get correct behaviour."

Is there a way to remedy this error?

dump the bios from a real gameboy advance and use it with the emulator
