Final Fantasy Viii Settings

Hello guys i have kind of a good pc and i want to get the best of final fantasy viii , and i wanted to know the best settings (highest quality) i use pete 2.9...

my computer specs are :

amd phenom x4 955 @ 3.4ghz
ram : 16 gbs
gpu : evga gtx 550 ti

so im pretty sure i can handle the best settings

I would recommend these settings for any 2D or 2D/3D hybrid.

If you try and whack up the internal resolution you'll destroy the quality of the 2D stuff while drastically improving the 3D.

Why Pete's plugin can't stretch the 2D stuff in the same way as it does here when you increase the internal resolution is an absolute mystery, but the bottom line is if you increase internal res on a 2D game you then have to choose between chronic pixellation or shader-induced vaseline.
