Emulator with rewind function

First sorry if this is the wrong place(no idea where it is when I'm not asking question about exact console)

Are there any other Sega Genesis emulators(or emulator for any other console)that have the rewind feature like in Gens+ REWiND!

Gens+ REWiND! is good emulator but I don't like the fact that the color mode is switched to 16 bit every time I start the emulator and returned back to 32 bits when I close it.

I know about save states but you can't compare rewind to save state(rewind allows you to go back always but save state requires to actually create the state first)
