Graphics on epsxe 1.7.0
Hello, I'm trying to play Fear Effect 2 but the graphics are really pixelated, no matter what i try. I tried the best plugins and the highest settings in video config, while it is somewhat better, it still has a ways to go. I saw some screenshots of more demanding games, like FF9 for example, that look even better than on the console, so I'm wondering how to achieve that visual level. I have a good computer, and I'm running a ps2 emulator with perfect graphics, so that shouldn't be a problem. Any advice, please? |

Assuming you're using Pete's OpenGL 2: Make sure you're setting the internal X and internal Y resolution to their maximum (very high, ultra high), enable texture filtering (although note 4 is often better than 6) and high-res textures to 2 etc. Also be sure to enable screen filtering, and shading effects (and set shader level to 4). You can go all out with external shaders but that can sometimes make things look worse rather than better. That's everything I can think of, for that plugin. |
