Cannot run the ISO I made, major skipping and game failure on weakest video options
Alright. So I downloaded the PSX emulator and got it up and running when my PS2 emulator could not run my PSX game (duh?). So I only have a limited number of graphics plugins available to me. I figured, oh, my laptop was built in 2011, I'll surely be able to run Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.76, right? Well, that didnt work on the fastest settings. Then the other ones I tried didnt work on the fastest settings. I'm on Windows 7. Nothing is working. I cannot play my ISO on my emulator and this is frustrating. Is it because I'm on a laptop? Do I need to download Granny's Good Ol' Boys Graphics Plugin to run a playstation 1 game? |

Well that depends entirely on how strong your laptop is. And by didn't work you mean it runs slow? or what?

well my PS2 games run brilliantly on the ps2 emulator. I didnt know the ps1 games were more powerful. anyway, it runs so slow that the game is virtually unplayable. Chopped sounds. Choppy visuals. cant process anything. |

Alright guys, solved. Simply make sure you have the right video plugin for your card, trying various plugins with THIS option: FPS Limit checked, FPS limit: 60.00 This will make it run relatively cleanly........... with or without better visual options checked. Simplistic, really. I was just in a hurry and thought the forums would be the quickest answer. This is an all-fix for Windows 7 computers... |
