Dang, why didn't I know about that site sooner? I used to frequent a similar site, www.rpgamer.com, but I don't even know if people still lurk that place. IGN/Gamespot like to hire biased reviewers to downplay non-HD games it seems.

This reminds me does the USA version suffer from the same fate as the pall and use the british accents or have they been switched out for american Va's? Same question poised about the USA version of Xenoblade Chronicles I have picked up both in pal version becuase as we know it took them a couple years to release them in the usa and hopeing the usa versions dont suffer the same issue as the pal version does and they redubbed them for the american market. Haven't been able to find to much info from a quick search so Hope you guys can shed some light on these releases. If they have been redubbed I may give both games another shot then. I honestly could not get to far in Xenoblade Chronicles but I got far enough in The last story and the voices have always bugged me and I havent played since.

I'd probably prefer the British accents to the U.S ones......though I'm the same person that watches u.k soaps on youtube.

What are you talking about? The voices didn't change at ALL in the NTSC version.

Does ANYONE have a source on this "change"? Xenoblade Chronicles didn't change voices either, but then again, I kept the audio to Japanese.
The only way one can do it for The Last Story is finding the audio data files and swapping them out.

Well the problem with the british accents is that they're typically too high and mighty for whatever character they're voicing. For instance you'll have someone who's throwing big words around who's actually supposed to be a beggar boy that never went to school or other stuff like that where the voice completely doesn't match the character being portrayed.
American on the other hand is less sophisticated and comes off a bit more naturally.

I just watched an entire storyline in german with english subtitles. I don't think any type of accent/language could put me off now. :|

Well, frankly I liked The Last Story, but it's not such a great game. Having played it just after Xenoblade must have influenced much of my dislike, though TLS is really sluggish in the mid-to-end battles, since they become more complex and full of spells all over the place, and the story isn't so deep.

Personaly, I felt like Xenoblade was more involving in it's story, and more polished in graphics. But TLS have it's moments, and here and there some great looking scenes.

Both good games, but if I were to pick one of them, it would definetly be Xenoblade. 60 out of 100 is understandable, but 40/100 is just mean... I'd give it a 70/100.

According to the top 10 wii games on gamefaqs TLS is number 1 and xenoblade is not on the list but its on the list for top 10 wii game forums and yet TLS tops that list as well. Which I find kinda funny lol. Must be a decent game to gain top spot on such a site.

Being number one on gamefaqs means its the most popular game there at the moment. Seeing as how its a newly released jrpg on a game guide site, I am not surprised. The Likes of Racoon City have been in that top 10 list so......

Once the wii u comes out and the wii becomes last gen we will have to see wheret he games stand after a while. and that will let me us know where games fall. Take a look at some of the older consoles and you will see what I mean. Take the PSX for example the top games are final fantasy.
