Unhappy Final Fantasy IX Crashes after Gargant Roo

after i beat the snake thingy in Gargant Roo, after Dagger says "Lets keep going." and the screen fades to black, i get ePSXe has stopped working

What version of ePSXe are you using? If it's 1.7.0, then it sounds like the game itself is a bad rip, you can try ripping it again.

The game is fully compatible, so it sounds like it was a bad rip. Was the disc scratched when you ripped it?
