Need help running FF8 with intel chipset

okay i have an intel atom cpu n270 1.6hz processor with a Mobile Intel 945 express chipset family gpu. i also have 1g of ram. i can run other final fantasys at a good speed, but the battle swirl before it starts, lags making the fps from 59.9 to like 12-15 fps. then the battle becomes laggy. and my overall fps in the game is around 34-43fps making it real slow to play. i know this pc has the capability to play it. all i need to know is how to make it run at a good speed, i can care less about the graphics, as long as i can play my favorite final fantasy. im currently using pete's dx6 d3d driver 1.76 for video. also using ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2. for sound. What plugins should i use??

The Intelgrphics are verry slow at HW-GPUplugins checkout to Play with Peops SoftGPU @ low setitgs.

Try using Pete's D3D Driver 1.77. Check the attachments for the configurations.
Also, try switching from ePSXe 1.6 to 1.7 to check which shows better results. As far as I know, it should work on both versions. Don't mind the special game fixes.
