Best Recording Tool?

I am currently using fraps to record my game footage but there is some slow down and certain parts and modes of game i cant play because of the slow down the recording causes. So I would like to know what is the best recording tool or option I can use that doesnt cause this slow down.

CamStudio or Bandicam might work, but I think the slowdown has to do with the framerate setting on FRAPS. You might be able to manually change it what the the PSX games are set at.

Ok, I checked and it was set at 30 fps so maybe that was causing the slowdown.
