pokemon stadium issue

Hi, I'm a newbie. I tried reading the stickies but couldn't find the answer to my problem. I downloaded project64 and the pokemon stadium ROM.

I got past the start menu (you know with the bulbasaur) by pressing enter. The music is running fine.

But it won't let me get past the "game pak check." I didn't download a transfer pack. I have windows 7, and a toshiba laptop.

Hi, it's the OP here. I figured out - you have to press the x key to get past the game pak check.

But now I can't figure out how to get inside the stadium. I already configured the digital keys to my liking, but maybe I'm missing something? I don't know...
