Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness no control?

For some reasons, my controls doesn't seem to work on Island of Happiness. I can only control my character by using the mouse as a stylus. Weirdly enough, when I press "L" on my keyboard, it functions; considering that I didn't configure it for the controls. I can't play it properly. Neither the directional or letter buttons work. I'm using no$gba2.6a and the latest no$zoomer. I can play Harvest moon: Sunshine Islands properly. And I don't have any problems concerning the texts on Island of Happiness, except when I still don't know the name of the person I'm talking to. At first his/her name would be something like "H..H..H..", then when I get their names, it's already fixed. Funny, if you ask me.

Or maybe IoH can only be played by using the stylus? HAHA. That's hard.
