Jak and Daxter graphical issues
In the attached image you can see 3 graphics-related problems I'm having with Jag and Daxter. Namely the Lines, eyes and shadows. Running with an i5-3570k @ 3.40Ghz, gtx670 2gb and 8gb ram. This is my first time running a ps2 emulator but I've followed the config guide carefully. Also noticed a slight slowdown in some areas of the game @ x2 native. I've got another 670 on the way, does pcsx2 support sli? Last edited by Deoxy; July 20th, 2012 at 08:57.. |

moving on....
Managed to solve some problems. I got the latest SVN build, configured everything from scratch and now Jak and Daxter runs smoothly (50-60fps) at x6 native res Eyes still not being rendered, except for Jak's left eye, for some reason. The annoying shadows are gone (enabled Alpha hack). The grass (seen in the background) occasionally turns into a square mess of colors for a second, hard to get a snapshot of that. Lastly the overall image is slightly blurred, like there are 2 images on each other, this is the best from all the interlacing options. Last edited by Deoxy; July 20th, 2012 at 08:57.. |
