Question Wanna buy a Kindle Touch

Well my mom is going to New York by the end of the month, and i want her to bring me a Kindle Touch, from Amazon.
She's not staying at a hotel, but at a friend's house.

What is the best way for me to buy the Kindle?
Should i buy it online, and have it delivered at her friend's house?
Or send to an Amazon Store(those exists?).

Also i wanna buy the Special Offer version, the one that comes with ads, since it's U$40 cheaper.

Here's a link to the one i want: http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Touch-e...pf_rd_i=507846

The color Kindle Fire with better specs and browsing is available at 160$ these days. You might wanna grab that one instead. The difference is very small between the b/w retailing for 140$ (no ads) and kindle fire discounted to 160$ (no ads).

you need to send it to your friend`s house

alto take in mind amazon free sipping takes like 5 or more days, so do it with enough time, or pay shipping

Well i don't have an Amazon account yet.
Can i purchase it, and send to her friend's house, like Paypal?
I mean, have a billing address and a different shipping address?

Well my mom got me the kindle fire.
And it cost U$199 + 8.5% tax. Then you multiply by 2.1, and you get the price in R$, my currency.
Oh well, it's still much cheaper than any tablet around here.
I'm probably going to install a custom ROM, android 4.0.4 gedeROM, since i cannot download or buy anything from amazon app store, since i don't own an US credit card, although i do have a international credit card.

For the same price, Nexus 7 might be nicer if you're going to root the device anyway.

Review.

Yeah for the same price a nexus 7 may be a better bet for you since you cant use the amazon stuff. Better specs all around on the nexus 7 compared to the kindle fire. I myself have the Nook Tablet and the 1gb of ram helps.
