Pokemon Blue/Red GBA Color Issue

When I play Pokemon Blue/Red, It's displaying in black and white as though the emulator does not support color. Is there a way to fix this? (Note: I tried going into Options > Gameboy > GBA, but this didn't fix the problem.)

[edit: I meant GBC in the title]

i thought the pokemon blue/red versions were never in color since they were released on the Original Gameboy?

however, if you play them on an actual Gameboy Color, then it should be slightly colored.

Please don't go giving out illegal advice.

Anyways as for the original problem where you set it to GBA have you tried setting it to CGB?
Another option might be to hunt for a GBC only emulator like VBA's precessor VisualBoy or perhaps Gambatte or BGB or even HelloGB.
