Will PCSX2 Run good on this configuration?
Here are my PC Specs. - Processor: AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz Quad-Core - Memory: ADATA Premier Srs 4GB DDR3 Desktop Memory - Graphics: ATi Radeon HD 3300 Onboard Graphics - OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Parts have shipped already. I can probably overclock the CPU a little further if needed. |

Processor is good for a lot of games but onboard/integrated graphic card sucks, get a better one to get better speed.

The onboard graphics are pretty aenemic, but might work at low resolution. Even a $50 card would be a big improvement, but something $100+ would be much better.

Nooo that video card suck balls, i bought it and PCSX2 ran like crap with it. You need a decent video card like: Ati: HD 4850 (and up) Nvidia: 8800 GTS, 9800 GTX, GTS 250 (and up) And note that those cards are still old, but if you plan on getting decent speed in PCSX2 those cards are the minimum requirements, anything below that would be bad for PCSX2. Edit: Replaced 8800 GT with 8800 GTS and removed the 9800 GTS.

I have a GTS250 on this machine (desktop) and it handles PCSX2 just fine.

The key things you want to look for in a graphics card for gaming (without dropping ~$250 which is the sweet spot generally with diminishing returns if you spend more) are: -GDDR5 memory: unlike DDR3/GDDR3 which are double data rate GDDR5 is quad data rate making it effectively twice as fast. -128-bit or wider memory interface: 64-bit interfaces found on lower end cards are fine for desktop duties, but graphics performance lives and dies by memory bandwidth. -Model numbers on AMD cards that are X670 (where X is 4-7) or Nvidia cards X40 (where X is 2-6) and, again, paired with GDDR5 (you can get a Geforce GT 240 with either DDR3 or GDDR5 memory and there's a substantial performance difference). A Radeon 6670 or Geforce 440 would probably be the best cheap options. |

For a good comparison between the cards check this site: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...ew,3107-7.html If you want the best performance with PCSX2, you can't be below the HD 4850 and GTS 250. Anything below those cards will be a bottleneck with heavy 3D games.
