The Revolution of VBA

Hello everyone,

I'm a new member (just registered) and this is my first topic. Now let me get to the point...
First of all, as we can see this forum is dying day by day. Nobody replies, nobody cares, and because of this vba and pokemon are dying too. No, I am not a 10 year old kid who wants to play pokemon. I have the money(chapter), the plot(scenario), the people(Advertisment), and a really enormous idea which will make a revolution to the vba and pokemon gaming. Believe me there are people (and not only kids) who are still playing pokemon with vba.
So, what I want?
- Knowledge of vba hacking/developing (dunno if it's c++ or java or w/e)
- Knowledge of english
- To be smart, and enough old. (remember we are going for something serious and maybe profitable)
- To be active, to have time to work and of course the will to work.

If you are a skilled guy (can do the things above) and you want more information about this project, feel free to post a reply below or send me a personal message.

Attention: Wannabes with no knowledge at all will be refused. We want skilled people or wannabes who are able to become skilled.

Because a third party forum needs to be active for development to be ongoing (slow or otherwise).

I really can't understand why you replied with such a bad way. I'm not a programmer or developer and that's what I'm searching for. And about money and glory? Well, it was a phrase I used in order to show my points. (I edited this, hope I made it more clear for guys like you).

No, I think you should just look elsewhere.

This community and most like it don't take all to kindly to the emulation for profit philosophy.
Not to mention a random new guy comes and posts in a specific program forum with a classic scam style proposition.

I wouldn't trust you as my employer to be fair, You don't appear to have done any research into the typical languages used to emulate systems (A mixture of C++ and ASM in many cases), Nor do you appear to have any idea about the legal implications that emulation for profit entails.

As I said above, my previous phrase was not the correct one. My target is not the money. My target is to build something really cool which will stay in pokemon gba emulator history. Anyway, I'd like to have a word with you (if you are a skilled guy) about this, we can talk in private (skype, pm or w/e). I'm honestly not a scammer and not a random kid who wants to build a ****.

I need a guy to make some changes on the gameboy advance emulator especially, and make things with rom. That's what I'm looking for. I can use mapeditor, pokerhacks etc. myself, I have the scenario but I need this skilled guy who can make the changes on the things I mentioned. It's not clear what this project actually is. You want someone to hack VBA and it has something to do with playing Pokemon on it. What does this mean? It sounds like you have game ideas. Do you just want to do a Pokemon ROM hack then? Why do you need a modified VBA?

You're even thinking about profit.. that's out of the question unless you're making a brand new game.

If the idea would be so beneficial for the scene, since apparently only you could pull it, start by sharing this grand plan in public, see if anyone gets convinced to even PM you.

I know that times have changed. Some developers left and some others are bored of all this thing. I can't share the plan or the idea in public, I want my team to think of my plan too. I'm not sure if everything will work fine or If my plan's correct so I first need to create a team. That's what I'm looking for, skilled people who have the will and the knowledge to work.

Explain why you believe so, then.
VBA is opensource so all and any changes would have to be made public anyway, so there would be no way to make any idea 'exclusive' (whether for fee or free).
