Need help with MGS 2nd disk swap

I am having problems with Metal Gear Solid when you are supose to put in the 2nd disk.
First off I have no clue how to do it other then to open up my CD drive, insert the disk and start pressing buttons on my controller, however that dosn't work.
Whenever I teh emulation starts on any PSX game I lose the meaues, and my mouse curser disapears when it's over the emulator window (yea I am using XP)
I read somewhere else that you go to file>change CD (or swap cd whatever it is) but I can't get there cuz I have no task bar for the emu. Any ideas?
