Methinks you aren't using an intel 815 chip anymore.. Nice shots. Good to see other Tualeron users posting shots. ![]() Here's some shots with a Tualeron 1.2@1.77GHz (147mhz fsb) with a GeForce4 MX 440 w/ AGP 8X, 384MB PC-133@147 and WinXP. All taken with Jabo's D3D6 1.5.1, 4xS FSAA, 2x Aniso (4x effectively with tex sharpening), Jabo's Dsound 1.5. ![]() (sorry it's not harvest moon but I don't have it and I'm not too interested in it.. these happen to show off a PC's beefiness though. )

Sorry to go offtopic like this, but what is a Tualeron? I gather its some sort of motherboard Mod, but for what?

He's talking about the core version of his CPU. For instance, my main PC uses a Thorton core, but the secondary is using a Palamino (at the moment)

Harvest Moon is looks much better using glN64(). In the shot I have 2xSAI, Bilinear filtering, 4xAA and 8xAF enabled, running about 100fps or so without the limiter. Goldeneye 007 is one of the most demanding N64 games, but my PC hardly breaks a sweat with over 100fps I get 70fps in Mupen64 if I disable the limiter and that only has an Interpreter core. N64 emulation is very processor dependant so the faster it is, the faster the frame rate. If you overclock your processor, you get good speed gains in N64 emulation which would probably be more noticable than in PC games. |

Yeah, LK's basically right. The core is Tualatin (P3) + Celeron = Tualeron. ![]() I can pull in over 100FPS in CBFD with 4xFSAA and 4X (2X w/ Tex Sharpening) AF. Gonna have to test w/o fsaa or aniso and see what I get.
