CC Generals Problems

For some reason when I start this game there is a very loud static noise. Does anybody know a fix for this?

Tried new SB live drivers? Mute all the inputs that you arnt using.

tried new drivers AND i turned the sound down all EVERYTHING in the game and it still is very loud

I owned SB Live but I don't have this kind of problem when playing C&C General, I'm using Kx drivers.

i never had a good experience with them....anyway i just came back my new copy works..wierd, but i don't care

If it dosn't help have you tried changeing the sound options in game and in DXDiag?
