I know that the Gamecube isn't known for its great games and is more oriented towards kids, but it still has all the genres of games that PS2 and Xbox has. In a while I'm sure they'll come out with better games for the Gamecube.

nintendo has a habit of releasing the great games a long time after launch, because of their quality control. what would you rather have? a crappy game that was a slack job or a game that has been fine tuned to every detail

Why does Ninja have to "enlighten" this fellow gamer? He has a good point. The games from Nintendo maybe be oriented toward younger crowds, but they are still good games that stand the test of time. (Just look at all the mario games, most of them are great!)

I respect Ninja for many reasons, one of them is that he is a very dedicated person. He might be the guy who knows most about Nintendo in these dear forums. He memorizes the names of the CEO's for God's sake . He can argue with u about that point (the so-called kiddy games) and can tell u about the best games on the NGC It's been some time since I last saw him....Where is he? Heh, maybe he's "still" playing Eternal Darkness (that was the name of the game, right?)

all i can say about Gamecube is if someone would pay me to take it off their hands and play it then i would touch it. Aside from zelda nintendo hasn't had anything of real value since super nintendo

Nintendo doesn't suck but they are annoying. They try to censor games not physically, but by reiterating that video games are for kids. I mean look at the actual console it's purple for Christ's sake, it's also the most "kiddy" looking console since SNES. Also there games are for kids, but I wish they would put more of an adult insight in games, this as a whole would make the video game industry more respected. i mean look what GTA3 did for the industry(everybody and their grandmother knows the game). BTW; I actually like the Gamecube, I'm gonna get one after I get a PS2

nintendo is oriented to kids because of one thing: money. who buys the games for kids: parents who gives money to kids: parents Nintendo must please the the parents before the kids. and since most parents are overprotecting... they must sheild their kid to violence and sex. (c'mon who here hasn't seen a porno pic) Kids are easy to program and alot of parents would want to please their kids. Look at Pokemon, Teletubies, Barney, Billions of dollars r being spent on this and Nintendo (as smart as they are) knows that this is the way to make money. They leave it to 3rd party developers to do the dirty work instead

Eternal Darkness is just one game, and Resident Evil is just a friggin' remake.
