valkyrie profile gets stuck

Hi, I've been playing valkyrie profile lately with PSXeven and it was working okay until today's endboss fight. It had crashed a couple of times before, but only occasionally. Now I must fight this enemy and everytime he starts to talk the game crashes (sound problem?). I have the valkyrie profile extras checked [x] in the sound options. What can I do?

Can I transfer the memory card file? This is the last boss of the game.
