An odd issue; maybe with Flash?
A while back, I was issues that I'd first notice where pages with video would act strangely. First of all, after loading the page, if it had a Youtube video on it, I'd have to click the page again to get it to scroll. The browser/page would be taken out of focus. Secondly, the video would look odd. Rather than being a rectangle, some would be cut off on the bottom or top and text above or below would be repeated where it was. If I'd hover the cursor over part of the video, it'd halfway correct itself or something. I thought this was the integrated video/drivers of my other PC, but after installing a GeForce GT 430, it still did it. Now I'm on my primary PC again, and it's doing it too, and it definitely wasn't before when I last used it. I also noticed a minor but similarly oddity on Youtube's actual page. ![]() ![]() Does anyone else see oddities witrh pages here with video? Is there something funny with the latest version of Firefox, Adblock Plus, and/or Flash? Those variables are the consistencies across both PCs.

Happened here too. Update flash, disable acceleration in firefox options. Doesnt happen anymore, though perhaps not specifically related. |

its a current firefox and flash 11.3 issue, it doesn't happen in FF14 (Aurora). I never had this issue with FF13 and flash 11.2 and of course latest Chrome and flash 11.3 doesn't have this problem. Only other problem with ff13 and flash 11.3 is if you go to a page with a bunch of embedded youtube videos and play a few flash will use 1GB+ ram

it doesn't seem to happen in ff14 for me. Anyway going back to flash 11.2 is a better choice at this point. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/...-versions.html

Okay, thanks; it sounds like this is a known problem and this might be it. I'll try rolling back the version of Flash that's installed and set it not to automatically update and see if it helps. Edit: This appears to have fixed it.

Yeah adobe has completely broken flash for firefox now for some reason. Wonder if it has to do with them dropping mobile support and just dropping the ball with their latest updates. Whatever the issue it just sucks for the consumers.

I'm having this problem as well, FF14.01 and flash 11.3 running with a geforce 260M. Gonna try flash 11.2, though I'm pretty sure it's been a long time this problem showed up (maybe since flash 11?) EDIT: yup, downgrading to version 11.2.202.228 of flash player fixes it, no changes needed in Firefox. Seems adobe really got lazy, they probably need some real competitor to shake things a bit. I thought it was just me until LMN's started having the same issue. The pics posted by PG are identical to what I see on both our PC's. I'll try rolling both back with the link provided. Thanx for the tips guys. ![]() Thanx again, The advice here worked perfectly.

I'm on FF14 now and Flash 11.3 and I have yet to experience any of this. I guess I'm just lucky.

As I said earlier though, I managed to fix it by rolling flash back to 11.2
