Turning on anti-piracy?

Hi, VBA is a great emulator but I was wondering if this could be done.

Now VBA runs the games in a way that overlooks copy-protection (anti-piracy) so the ROM runs like it's a legit game. I was wondering if there was a way to turn on the anti-piracy of a game? (If that makes sense?)

For example, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tA2pJeuz7IQ. I know this isn't a GB/C/A game, but it is being run on an emulator and the game is recognised as an illegal copy.

Hope this made sense, and I hope someone can help - thanks!

Well...
You can always use an old version of VBA.
Copy-Protection measures are triggered by faulty emulation (by hardware or software) therefore a "not so perfect" emulator would activate AP protection.

Yeah, I guess this must sound like a weird thing to want to do, ha.
Basically I'd just like to observe the anti-piracy methods of different games, it's a subject that's always interested me.

Thanks es3ado - I'll try this out!
