Question Problem of mic for Layton and the diabolical box in no$zoomer

I'm new to emuforums and I play currently at Professor Layton and The Diabolical Box on No$zoomer and I'm not able to finish the last puzzle of the game because it requires the mic! When I active it in the emulator, nothing happens. Can you help me? I want to finish this game! (I'm noob in emulation so help me please )

If the option says "Activate Mic", then you've got an outdated version of the language pack. You can get the updated one in the No$Zoomer sticky.
Checking that option actually deactivates the mic. Do you have one you can use? Some games are very picky in what they recognize. You could also try the Audacity trick, detailed in the main FAQ.

Unhappy

I know for Audacity but the function in No$zoomer is "Enable Mic" and I think that it not requires a mic to enable it. It's just like the emulator do always sound if I chek the function. (Sorry if my english is not good, my first language is French) But it didn't work last time I try! (Just for this game because I was playing to C.S.I. and it worked when we had to blow in the mic) Help me!

As I said, get the newest language version from the No$Zoomer thread. It doesn't change anything in the programming, but it clarifies some options.
What happens when you check the Enable/Disable Mic option is that the emulator creates a loud static noise. You can check it out with any game that has a playback feature (like the "My <language> Coach" series). This helps with some, but not all games that use the mic for "blowing".
If it doesn't work, then you need to uncheck the option (so mic support is emulated) and either use a real microphone or the Audacity workaround.

I think I have the newest language version of No$Zoomer. I will check for the mic if I enable the function (Enable/Disable Mic). But do I have to do something in the emulator to use an extern mic? And I know the trick for Audacity. But thank you very much for your help! I will answer if it's correct!

No$Zoomer should automatically use any mic you have selected as standard device for Windows. Most games that use the mic feature have an input test menu. You should be able to check whether your mic works there.

Ok thanks. I can't check in that game because it's juste for the last puzzle, we have to blow in the NDS Mic to finish the game.
