Question what's the best controller

Since my Dual Shock 3 won't do the job, I'm looking for a game pad with analog sticks and rumble that will work with this emulator. Wireless or not, doesn't matter. Would be best if it was also fully compatible with ePSXe (again with analog and rumble support) but if not, no big deal, as I almost only use pSX. Any suggestions ?

Xbox360 controllers (wired) work great on every emulator I've tried, not sure about rumble feedback though.

rumble only works with custom drivers on 360 pads. I don't really like the 360 pad for anything that relies on dinput.

I guess the best would be a dual shock or dual shock 2 + adapter, or a good clone (saitek, thrustmaster and logitech generally have decent ones).
360 pads have poor d-pads too (except for the special edition ones)

Speaking of logitech, the F510 seems pretty good. But I'd prefer to have some feedback from users here before purchasing one. Are you 100% sure that analog will work if I use PS1/2 controllers ?

Well at least they're not a PITA to set up unlike PS3 controllers. Good luck getting those drivers to work.

No need for a new controller I say, just learn to use the MotionJoy drivers. And it does have force feedback driver so you should be able to get rumble with ePSXe. There might be some quirks, so I suggest you just check their forum.

I've been trying to get PS3 controllers to work with the MotionJoy tool for god knows how long, not just with emulators, and there's always something. Never been able to get the analog sticks to work with emulation though. On PC games the rumble never worked... I installed the latest version a few weeks back and it just wouldn't work with anything anymore, so I'm getting "a little" sick of it. I still have my PS1&2 controllers somewhere, so if I know for sure those would work (at least the analog) I could just get an adapter.
