Issue with my game controller.
I recently installed the emulator and downloaded the FF8 ISOs. The game works fine but I'm having an issue with my gamepad. When trying to configure for the analog sticks I can only get the left stick's north-south axis bound. East-West on both sticks do no work. Also when I move the left stick up as if to select an option or move it seems that becomes permanently pressed. No matter what else I press no other buttons work after moving the analog stick. I'll either be stuck at the menu screen with the cursor permanently stuck because no other buttons can be pressed or if I'm fast enough I can get in the game but then my character gets stuck moving in a direction and I'm unable to continue as I cannot press any other buttons nor un-action the analog stick movement. I was wondering if anyone has any insight as if this is a problem with my controller, the emulator or something I'm doing wrong in configuring it. Any help would be appreciated. Stats - Quad Core i7 Sandy-Bridge 8 GB DDR3 RAM nVidia GTX 680 GPU Superclocked Windows 7 64 bit Using ePSXe version 1.7 the latest I believe. Controller is a dual-analog Predator. Don't know much about it, looks like a fancy PS2 controller with a USB connector and a connector that would hook up to a PS1 or 2 I believe. |
