no true 16:10 or 16:9 fullscreen support in genesis emulators...why?

i found a rather puzzling trend when it comes to genesis/mega drive emulators. sure, most have fullscreen support but its only in the standard 4:3 aspect ratio. why is there no genesis emulator that has 16:10 or 16:9 stretched fullscreen support? is it harder to do with genesis emulators or something? its just something i dont understand of why it hasnt been done yet.

The aspect ratio looks just fine in Kega Fusion...
