The last drawing book I had was back in high school, and that thing is horrid, I'm telling you lol.

Those be some sweet drawings Fadingz.

Received an architectural project last week which we rarely do, installed the Autodesk Premium Design Suite 2013 and jumped into Revit, some nice improvements, Architecture, Structure and MEP are now all integrated into each other which is tremendous, takes a while to install 20 something gigs of software, but it's worth it.

Without seeing Revit Architecture before managed to put this together in about half a day. My workstation at home is better than my one at work and Revit allows me to do Raytracing which is sweet, going to have to upgrade the NVS295 at work to something more suitable.

Revit is pretty handy for architectural design indeed.
It can even print out the blueprint and calculate the materials and cost for you.
Though i don't think it does structural analysis yet.

Quite a nice apartment you have there, based on real-life model?
What happened to the window in the second pic btw?

The way the software can quickly generate drawings is of great benefit for my job, considering how time frames are continually growing shorter and demands and changes numerous, it can help quite a bit in the early stages of a project to win tenders, reduce operation costs and get info to clients quickly which is why we went after the software. I've grown to really appreciate Revit, doing quantities is pretty simple, although there were some annoying omissions in the software in Structure that made me stick to regular ass Autocad, that was 2011 version mind. I believe that you can do some structural analysis in Revit structure, during the software presentation I went to there was some discussion about it, there are also some extension tools to help do it as far as I know, however I haven't used it yet. Haven't really needed to yet.

I have no idea what's going on in the second picture, just progressively got worse as it continued to raytrace. There's no lighting inside the building yet, which is probably freaking it out a bit. Eh, it's ealy days.

Also in the design suite they've included Sketchbook Designer which looks to be a lot of fun. I've been playing around with the android version and it's really easy to use. Gonna have to get a pen.

This was something i was working on in hopes to contribute to the Sonic 3 HD project, but they had positions filled plus when i realized how much work was invested for this one incomplete frame i said **** it. Too much work to do dozens of these when one was time consuming enough. Did i post this already? I may finish it one day, maybe not.

That took about 4 or 5 hours which incidentally just flies by when youre in the zone doing these things. The most time consuming part is tinkering with the lighting and trying to improvise HD detail using low res, pixelated non-detailed sprite. So before you come up with something that actually works, you spend hours going through trial and error.

That's not that long :P Though I guess in a working day there's nowhere near enough time.

it's good though, can you remake a few games for me in HD?

I've been playing around with Sketchbook Pro on the iPad lately. I love doodling on it, but I don't really have made anything with it yet that I wanted to keep. When I do, I'll post it. Maybe.
