Nice purchase! Is it good as an Ipad?

Still trying it out. The speed is phenomenal compared to previous Android tablets, and the UI looks very sleek (looks like Google really did their homework with JB). Also been playing with the neat new Cards feature. It isn't as stylish as my Galaxy Tab 7.7 (or the iPad) but it's much cheaper and has a lot more power.

How much does it cost? I am absolutely married to my Ipad, though I am not above trying out somthing differnt. All the other tablets I have tried do not feel as well made as the Ipad.

This is the smoothest and fastest Android tablet that I have ever used (the Honeycomb lag is gone forever). It is as smooth as the iPad now, while having all the goodies of Android. If this is the future of Android, I like it

In terms of style though it's nothing special compared to the iPad. And compared to the Super AMOLED Plus on the Galaxy Tab 7.7, the screen is also so-so (comparable to any other IPS LCD screen). I haven't yet benchmarked the Tegra 3 processor on it though.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to just keep everything as it was till you moved into whatever new place you'll find?

It depends. Either way, he's going to have his PC and an extra case, unless he decides to and can sell the old one before he moves, in which case it'd benefit him to do this now as he'd have less to move (it's just one extra case, but trust me having done a lot of moving lately, it adds up, and I personally didn't have much). I actually recall him saying he had someone who'd buy his old stuff in the other thread he made about getting this.

Then again, I think I recall him getting new other parts too, so... I don't know what the plan is.

I guess, just to me in the midst of packing all sorts of stuff for a move unpacking some stuff doesn't make any sense.

Already found 5 places, we just need to pick which one we want.

I have my heart set on one that is only a few km's from here (for an easy move) and is insane close to a great size shopping mall.

I have a moving budget that is well within maintaining and had extra dollars to spare.
This is what I got as my other case (Antec P182) has got multiple things broken on it.

Almost bought a SSD today as well, but bought something else on impulse instead for LMN.

I will show in the pics of your new games thread later what that was.

To clear some stuff up.
The deal was changed with my mate and I ended up building him a fresh PC.

The money that was going to be used on parts before is now being used to move instead (Otherwise today would have been the day I revealed everything else i had planned)

The P182 is going to the garbage dump, it has a lot of small things wrong with it that add up to it being an annoying case to own and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

Spoiler:
Maybe I should destroy it on video and put it on Youtube?

I LOVE this case, its been a real treat to build with and it just looks awesome and has pretty sweet features that the P182 doesn't have that appeal alot to me.

I keep the boxes to everything I buy for my PC, so I plan to put the case/monitor/speakers in the original boxes for the move.

Thanx Ahielia! I 100% agree!

Got these for my upgrade as well...

The 60GB SSD ($72) is currently my OS drive and the 500GB HDD ($66) is being used for installing stuff on.

Also, if anyone noticed I am finally using a reasonable camera to take pictures. (No more using a 2MP camera phone anymore)
Thanx to my mum for mailing it to me for free

Its a Canon Powershot A495 and is the red one like this...

No pics of mine as its impossible to get it to take a picture of itself.
