Decided in the end to pic Gothic 3... i always wanted to ally with the orcs (but decided last time to go on the def path for gothic 4). Latest community patch sure is a beauty, also includes FXAA build in game XD.

Ah. Why not try Two Worlds 2?

And if you're playing Gothic 3 then you can certainly play the original Two Worlds since it runs much better.

lol Gothic 3 with the community patch is way better then Two Worlds doesn't even compare in any part... As for Two Worlds 2 i'm not very comfortable about the combat system... especially those attack animations ruin it for me... though who knows i may give it another chance...

I played almost 2 hours of Kirby's Epic Year, sure its a kiddie game, but it has charm and is fun.

I guess if you don't crank up the difficulty, Kirby is unkillable? as I sure got plastered by the Phoenix wannabe.

I like the game, and hope to finish it, and then play it on a harder difficulty.

Played PES 2013 demo, gameplay seems more responsive than 2012 and overall seems like it's going to be a better game, but the frame rate is HORRIBLE on PS3, especially during replays (10 fps sometimes). I remember PES 2012 had similar problem as well, at least the demo. Will be getting the PC version again, so not too much concerned about it.

I tried i really tried To Worlds II, but i can't get into it, unlike the original this one definitely is an improvement, the engine is more solid and works nicely in general, graphics are nice, world design ain't bad, as far as i watched and read it has one of the most interesting magic systems in RPG, lots of options for combat, but that its all that the game has for itself, quests are damn right boring, fighting animations are down idiotic and out of place especially the one handed/one handed + shield ones, this plus the hit detection in range makes combat irritating, voice acting is as bad's as Arcania's but at least Arcania has a better VA and lines for its protagonist, not only he speaks in an cliche irritating manner but he just wont shut up and has a lot of stupid nonsense lines. Some complained about the character models, i wont i've seen worse. Sprint animation for char is retarded... Quests are a drag... especially main ones... I swear the dev team was trolling the player, especially since the npc in some situations use better animations then the freaking PC.

TLDR version: Basically the game at its base has a lot and i mean a lot of great ideas and concepts but they failed to properly bring them completion. Judging though by the huge improvement over the first Two Worlds the third installment (if there's ever going to be one), might be a something to look forward to.

I'm playing atm Arcania, damn i hate Jowood most of all the publishers out there when playing this game and with gothic III, in both cases they forced devs to trow on the market an unfinished product, crippling 2 games with fantastic potential, especially with Arcania. Even in its current state the game is enjoyable, the world is fantastic (though AA and AF would be nice additions... but on the other hand it has the most awesome meteorical system i've seen till now, not to mention that all the buildings are in the same map as the world, yet you don't see it raining in them), combat system is nice (though it would need a tad more tweaking, it can be pretty easy even on hard), there's a satisfying selection of weapons and armor. I'm, only past the second town, and i already acquired some nice weapons, from halberd, to two handed maces/clubs, axes, shields, heavy armors all nicely made. Its a bit sad they ended up needing to reuse the same models for a variety of NPC's and a bit wierd how similar many NPC's (except the more important ones) are similar with each other (yet again thanks to jowood) but i still enjoy this game, the archery and crossbow system in this game is one of the best, if not actually the best i've seen in WRPG's, absolutely love using the crossbow here.

Currently my char:

Are those pics from Arcania or Gothic III??? I haven't played either but I now believe I should... What kind of battle system do they have? Is it point and click or is there variations like blocking and stuff? ...Ah forget it, I'll try finding them either way.

That's Gothic 4: Arcania, Gothic 3 has a nice world but gear wise i can't say it excels (not to mention its pretty bad without the the community patch), Gothic and Gothic 2 is where this series shines. Although i enjoyed nicely Arcania as well despite its setbacks.

Maybe they use the time to actually improve the game as it was on the consoles.
Wishful thinking, it'll probably be just a quick cash grab for the pc owners.

I ended up really getting into Gothic 3 for some reason, well while the armor and weapons are a bit limited i just love the world and thankfully the latest community patch makes it overall enjoyable:
