I have old CD-ROM called Battle for Naboo which as you know came out in 2001. I have two PCs, one thats 98 and other XP Pro 32-bit SP3. It runs really well with old OS, but it sux on the XP. I've tried running compability mode (the properties version) and adjusting the color depth to 16-bit, but it doesn't work. There's no sound present on either situation that've tried. So now asking the gaming gods for help (banned or unbanned). If there a patch or whatever, I'll be grateful. How do I get the sound active in XP? I know I have a sound card, but I don't know make the game link to it. Here's the gaming rig I'm using currently: Windows XP 32-bit SP3 (recently reformatted) 1GB NVIDIA Geforce 8400GS 4GB Corsair RAM Seagate Momentus 250GB 7200rpm Drive 2-way Infinity Speakers from IBM Aptiva E-Series (best ones that MS gave, the speakers with todays computer have horrible sound) |
