Quake II - Blinking object whilst underwater

Small issue with Quake II on PJ64. When underwater Items and enemies NOT underwater blink. Which setting could possibly fix this?

I'm using Glide64 final.


EDIT: I noticed that any transparent liquid itself blinks actually, making the problem slightly more urgent.
