AICA plugin error

So I just downloaded 1.0.4 and I am attempting to run Shenmue I and whenever I do I get an error of "Unhandled exception while Initing NullDC AICA [Aug 21 2011] plugin] when I attempt to run empty AICA it works just fine. But having no sound really sucks. Does anyone know of either a way to fix it or any older plugins I may be able to try and see if they will work?

Where did you download it from and what (if any) modifications did you make to the core files? That error shouldn't come up if you just use the default plugins.

I downloaded it from the google code link and have made absolutely no modifications to any of the core files. No idea what is causing the issue and any modifications I make to the settings on the plugin make no difference. It always crashes when trying to load the plugin

EDIT: Problem solved, after about two hours of trying to find other plugins I now feel like an idiot because all that was causing the issue was a bad BIOS file................

hey there I was wondering what the bad bio file was because i'm having the exact same problem. i'm trying to play project justice using wine on mac but that very same error keeps happening. It works fine if I use it without the aica but then it goes super fast. Any advice?
