Memory card keeps corrupting

It works fine for a few games then suddenly when I try saving I get the 'memory card is unformatted' message. It's happened several times now, how can I prevent it?

xebra version 110425, bios ver scph7000

Never happened here. Maybe some game you are playing is causing it.
Btw: Can you attach a corrupted memory card so I can take a look at it?

I think I figured it out - it's the way xebra's savestate works. Turns out when you load a savestate it resets your memory card to look exactly like it did when you created the savestate, so all saved data created after that point for every game it gets deleted :/

This differs from other emus I've used like pcsx2 which keep memory card data and savestates completely separate. So basically xebra's savestate is only useful for things like restarting a tough battle or race etc, not replacing save points. I hope Dr. Hell can change this in the future, but I fear development is dead

Actually most of the PSX emulators work that way (I know for certain ePSXe, PSXeven and pSX do).
